Is it normal for a cat to be in labor for more than 6 hours?

I noticed today shortly after 4:00PM That my pregnant cat, Raven. Has the amniotic sac sticking out. She hasnt been pushing much. She gets very restless and insists that someone is always near her. She hasn't had any kittens yet. I am extremely worried about her. She has had kittens before. and it never took this long. I'm scared for her. Is everything normal am i just over reacting or could something be wrong? Please help I love my kitty :(

Parents stalking my facebook, how do I make it stop?

My parents are using some Yahoo tool to stalk my facebook and all my friend's feeds, I already blocked them on FB but somehow they can use this tool to get through. Frankly, what my friends say and do on facebook is NONE of my parent's business, and the fact that they watch over EVERY THING I do and say pisses me off too, say a swear, get in trouble for it, make a post in the early hours, get in trouble for it. Please, someone tell me there is a way to shut them out. All I know is that they're using some yahoo tool to stalk my posts and my friends posts, what is it and how do I shut it down?

I'm 17 and at college and my life seems like hell. I feel like crap everywhere I go and sometimes dont leave the house for 2 weeks at atime. Should i be concerned or not?

So in the last year my cycle has ranged from 28 days to 33 days long. 30 days has occured most often and only 33 days once. I do not take any hormonal birth control and have been having unprotected sex with a man who has told me he had a vasectomy 5 years ago. Today is day 33 of my cycle(for the second time) and no sign of a period yet. Should I be concerned yet?

Is it bad my period is a week early?

I just finished my 3rd pack of alesse but my period didnt come during the sugar pills it came the last week of the hormone pills, this is the second month this has happened the first month i got my period on the sugar week. Why is my body telling me to have a baby?

I have always wanted children but when I was about 18 and out of school I started REALLY wanting them. I think that it is a normal thing and it will probably come and go. My urge settled down for awhile till I got married then it came and went some more. Right now I've been married for 3 years and really really want children now but I know that I just have to be patient because things always happen when they are supposed to. I found that if I babysat sometimes it make it better. (especially if they were really bratty kids) I suggest starting a new hobby to distract yourself a little bit.

I'm 39 weeks. Yesterday, my panties stayed moist all day, and yesterday evening I had a few of the real labor contractions (not the BH ones). Today when I woke at dawn today, my panties were soaked and my pants were very damp too. It was clear and thin like tap-water. I felt a little trickle when I got up from the bed, but it slowed down and was stopped within maybe 2 hours. Any idea what's going on? Was that amniotic fluid? Why did everything stop? Tech didn't see babies bladder in Ultrasound?

I had an ultrasound at 20 weeks pregnant and they couldn't get a clear picture of the babies bladder so they asked me to do another one in two weeks. Everything else including the amniotic fluid is perfectly normal. Has anyone else gone through this and do you think this is something my husband and I should be really worried about. Please help, my last pregnancy was a miscarriage so I worry about everything this time around.

Do I have hyperhidrosis?

I seem to always sweat through my shirts, only in my underarms, and normally when I'm around people, or outside of the house. I've only tried normal of the shelf anti-ps, (Lynx Dry) I've just turned 16, and I'm not in the best of shape (I'm changing that though). I'm not to keen on going to the doctors either. Why has my guy friend been kind of ignoring me?

Hi, I had a guy friend in school, he was one of my best friends actually, and we have been really strong friends for two years. We used to hang out together with our other friends and joke and play fight kind of thing. I don't know what it is but he has been kind of ignoring me for a while. It's not like a phase like 2 weeks or so, it has been around 6 months. I don't know if it is because we moved schools or what but I am really confused. You see, when we first moved school we were still really close. We had an opportunity to pick lab partners and he picked me all the time. He found new friends and starting to hang out with this other girl, which many people say, looks and acts exactly like me. Come to think of it we are almost like twins, exept she puts on quite a lot of make up, I don't mean like a little she looks like a cake face(sorry for being rude.) I noticed after a while she was flirting with him. Every girl notices when a girl flirts because she was hugging him, ruffling his hair and all sorts. He looked really uncomfortable though. When she hugged him, he backs away after a second. Soon he hardly even talked to me. I was lucky enough to get a sentence every two weeks. They started calling eachother best friends and all that. The strange thing is though, when the girl went away for a month he started to joke around and talk to me every day. I felt great but it was really strange. My daughter is 17 weeks pregnant, has bled heavily and today been told their is no fluid but strong heartbeat?

My daughter is 17 weeks pregnant and started bleeding yesterday. The bleeding was significant and after a scan today has been informed there is no amniotic fluid however the heart beat is strong. They have informed her that they will scan her again next week. I'm concerned because today she collapsed while in hospital and was given antibiotics due to an infection after a high temp was discovered. The doctors have not discussed implications/risks of carrying on with pregnancy and I do wonder if they are just waiting for her to miscarriage. I believe in individual rights and being in possession of full facts. I'm concerned that my daughter will not be told of the risks such as abnormalities, non lung development due to docs role to save rather than terminate life. I don't want her waiting another week to be told theres nothing they can do and will have to wait until a stillbirth. Would they ask if she wanted a termination? I'm petrified that she is at more risk. Thanks

If i am on pretrial diversion can i finish and submit the paperwork for my suppressor (class 3 firearms)?

i'm on pretrial diversion (been charged not convicted) for criminal damage to property 2nd degree. classified as a felony at the beginning but on my forms the probation officer guy filled it out as a misdemeanor. the stipulations are that i stay in the PTD program under the supervision of said prob. officer for a year. i am to complete 40 hrs of community service and complete the drug and alcohol assessment to see if i am an addict. i already did the D&A assessment and i need no treatment. so would i need to wait until the 12 months is up to file my paperwork so it doesn't get denied? my lawyer says he thinks i am ok to do it now. i just don't want to leave my supp. at the gun store anymore. paid it off in august last year then got in trouble and had to get them to stop the paperwork. please don't refer me to the ATF as all they do is transfer your phone call around in a circle until you get an answering machine that they apparently don't listen to messages from. basically only if you have legitimate knowledge of this subject should you respond. i swear if anybody says silencers are illegal to own im gonna crap a brick.

How do i get my brother to be a better person?

My Brother is 30 years old he has a 6 year old son and he is very very very immature, he makes stupid comments and swears constantly. TTC for year, Insurance wont cover infertility.. Please HELP!?

Me and my husband were all set up to see a fertility specialist and then I called my insurance to see if i could get the referral number to put on my paper work for the fertility specialist. Well they then told me that I can not see a fertility specialist, that its not covered. ( I have CIGNA HMO) I was so upset. I have such irregular periods. I can go 4 months without one sometimes, then sometimes one month or maybe 2 or 3. it is not one of those "irregular" periods that some people have where they get them every 2 months...its NOT REGULAR AT ALL! I also have an issue that i have a lot of discharge and I dont know why and it worries me that it could kill the sperm or slow them down. Also when my husband does come in me he will hold in for at least a minute but as soon as he pulls out it all come right out, i dont even have to stand up i can be laying there. ( AND yes people I know they say it has to come out! but I know that a lot of people it come out over the next few days or even the next few hours, but it ALL comes out immediatley!!!) Its just so frustrating because I now can not go to the doctor to actually know whats wrong with me. My husband always comes in me for like the past year. And nothing... I Just want to know if anyone has had the same experience and what they did and if they go pregnant. or how they regulated their period. I have also read Vitex/ chaste tree berry can regulate you..... well i took this for several months and it made no change in me. I think it may be a hormonal issue because Im 23 and I still break out, I also have irregular hair growth ( like around my nipples and my upper lip) I know sometimes this can be a thyroid issue but i have been tested for that.. my best friend is 12 and I'm 13 and she's started hanging out with these heavy metal people at school. I really don't mind her doing it but they are all like year 11 and stuff.. Am I leaking amniotic fluid?

So im 35 weeks pregnant. As of monday I have been getting a lot of clear odorless discharge. It has no smell to it either. I asked my doctor and he said to call if it became irritating to the skin or started to smell. Its been 3 days and im still constantly leaking something and my underwear constantly feels soaked. I started to put a paper towel or napkin down there and notice that sometimes it has a tint of yellow to it but mostly is clear. Should I call my doctor again?

Pink discharge in 3rd trimester of pregnancy?

i am 30 weeks pregnant and lately i have been having a lot of pinkish tan discharge. Its kind of thick and it has little pieces of tissue looking pieces in it. I know its not toilet paper because even after a shower the tissue pieces are still there. The other night i had really bad cramps and it was after sex that i notices the discharge dripping out. The next day it went away and was clear or a bit yellowish. NOw today it is pink/tan Again. Does anybody know why this is. The doctors tested it to see if it was amniotic fluid and she said that when the cervix starts to ripen that the discharge would change, but i am still wondering whats going on. I had the same thing, they booked me in for extra scans to keep her monitored. If she drops off the growth line or they aint happy with her growth they may book u in for a c section but they'l keep her in you for aslong as poss first. Try and make sure ur drinking plenty of fluid and eating a healthy balanced diet, I improved mine and my baby gained enough weight for me to go full term now :)

Trouble sleeping, stomach hurts and feels like its on fire?

I'm 8 months pregnant, and woke up tonight feeling like my stomach was on fire, plus it feels like I'm about to burst and its painful. The only place on me that's burning up is my stomach. 3rd trimester discharge?

I am 36 weeks today, and for the past couple of days I have noticed a lot of clear (sometimes white-ish) oder less discharge. It's enough that if I don't wear a panty liner it will run down my leg. I also have contractions every once in a while..sometimes I notice them sometimes I don't. With my first child I leaked amniotic fluid without even knowing and had to be induced because there was hardly any left when they did an ultra sound. IDK if I should go in (my doc isn't in the office for the next 2 days) or just wait till my appointment on Wed.

You will be attached to the fetal heart monitor for about 20 mins to 1 hour to assess the baby's heart rate. 8 is okay for 38 weeks, but if you have that feeling that something is a little off...it is better to be safe rather that sorry later. I still have my period but I think I could be pregnant?

I have a 13 month old so I feel silly for even asking, my daughter's dad's girlfriend is pregnant and last time I was over there he said me and her were both moody. He added that I had put on weight. Braces AND a palate expander?

hi everyone! so i went to my new orthodontist and she told me i need a palate expander and a full set of braces. however, i swear she had absolutely no idea what she was doing. so, my mom made an appointment with my original orthodonist and he said i needed the same thing the last time i visited him which was six months ago. My new orthodonitist also tol dme i have a terrible overbite and need braces AND a retainer! i have already had a palate expander and my mouth shifted back! he told me that during my next appointment (next friday) he was going to put in spacers and take moldings. what i am wondering is, is he able to put the braces on the saem time i have the palate expander? or do i need the expander first, finish that, and then get braces? im getting a permanant one that has to be turned everynight. thanks so much everyone!

Confused took two dollar general pregnancy test and they were positive?

they were only a dollar. i took one 2 days ago it was positive but kinda lacking in color yesterday i took another one the same brand and could see pink and it was definitly darker than the previous day. (my husband and brother also noticed. i was expecting my period today and it was a no show so thats good since we were ttc and im always goin to the barthroom frequently woke up today with a nose bleed feeling nausiated. im just wondering if anyones had experience with this brand of test and I have a appt later this week just wanting opiniona! A friend of mine told me that her sister has been to to several different Doctors who have told her that by taking BC pills over the course of 10 years it has made her infertile. Yesterday was my last day of the hormonal pill and before i took it i noticed some brownish discharge. I was planning on skipping the white pills and starting the pink becasue im going away and really didnt wanna be on my period! Castor oil to induce labor?

I am 39 weeks pregnant and absolutely miserable (as most women are at this point in pregnancy). I have been in false labor a few times and ready to go! I am about a cm dilated. My doctor is going to strip my membranes Monday and I would like to go a more non-invasive way. I walk, stimulate my nipples and everything else. I have started the evening primrose oil and raspberry leaf tea. I am more interested in castor oil. On one hand, I hear that it works. On the other hand, I hear that it can cause meconium to go into the amniotic sac. Wondering how effective/ safe castor oil is. Any midwives around? Looking for someone who is not just clinical/ medical. Thanks.

5 weeks late with light pink period spotting?

So my period is almost 5 weeks late, taken constant pregnancy tests all of which have said negative, however yesterday and today I have experienced a very pale pink light flow, too light to use a tampon and only really present when I wipe. Could this be my extremely late period? Extremely late implanting bleeding or what? I'm 22 years old and a healthy weight, have had regular periods all my life. I think my water broke yesterday?

Okay so I asked yesterday if you guys thought it was my water or not. I also asked a couple of mom friends their opinions and everybody seem to think so, as did I. I went to L&D and they did a swab test basically and said it wasn't amniotic fluid and sent me on my way. It wasn't like a steady flow of liquid coming out, it was just a leak. I just chalked it up to being pregnant. But now it's continuing, I'm still leaking and I'm concerned because if it was my water my baby could be at risk. Has anyone else had this? Did it end up being your water breaking, but just leaking out instead of everything gushing out at once?

I hate my mother so much, you seriously have to read this and think if it is normal. No question surrounds that my mother and i have never seen eye to eye. I am a straight a student, achived 3a*s and 8a's at GCSE and 4 A's at A level. My mother's response to me doing well after my sociology a level and getting an a was not well done son but rather i got an a in sociology in the most spiteful and harsh tone ever. Before my a level exam actually it was my mother's day off and she had already said she would not be taking me to school as she wanted a lie in. That was fine, i got the bus to and fro school for every exam and so it didnt bother me, however the way she acted this day really pissed me off. My exam was actually at 2 and she couldnt be bothered to even get out of bed at even 1 o'clock to drive me to school but the reason she would not get out of bed is because i could vividly and clear as day hear her having sex with her boyfriend. I had an important a level exam and my mother refused to take me at 1 o'clcok in the afternoon because she was too busy having sex, surely that's not right!?!. I confronted her about this and her response to this was not i'm sorry but rather, and i quote as i can remember, "it's my house, not your's, i will do what i fuc**ing want". I was ten minutes late for my exam because i had to get the bus but i couldnt even be bothered with the hassle of telling her. 3 days later, i woke up for school and she had left for work, i went in to the bathroom and she had left a used condom in the toilet present for everyone to see, including my 14 year old brother, absolutely disgusting. Her response to this was again, "its my ******ing house, i will do what the fu*k i want". My brother needed the bathroom so i had to fish a used condom out of the toilet. Obviously i confronted her about this and she literally went off on the biggest rant i have ever witnessed, swearing left right and centre, when i was talking to her in a manner, raised as it was due to what she had did, never swearing at her. She has also came down the stair's on christmas day with her dressing gown wide open as she was drunk from the night before. She has done this several times and one time she answered the door to my friend, who was then 15 with here dressing gown, as usual wide open, with everything on show and when i tell her to put some clothes on she constantly for some uknown reason tells me to fu**k off and stop trying to be her dad. This is not the behaviour of a woman functioning normally surely. My brother has also witnessed her having sex with her bedroom door wide open at 9 o'clock in the evening and my brother said her boyfriend (her 2nd boyfriend out of 6 in a space of 6 years actually looked at him and just carried on. My brother was in tears and came into my room. My mother accused him of lying saying he was making it up even though she could be heard clearly even downstairs and he would not lie or make up a story about such a thing. The amount of times my mother has said that she wished i never lived in the house and that she didnt have to know me can not be counted. She talks to me like i am subhuman and near enough every day, every couple of hours tells me to fu**k off and launches into a torrent of abuse for god knows reasons. The very moment i am writing this for instance, just two hours earlier, beacuse i have no money as i am saving up for univeristy and am in the limbo between exam results and university and so can not realisticly find a job that will be happy to employ me and get rid of me in 2 months, i couldnt go out today as i have no money. She launched with abuse about how i have no friends and go fu**k off and live somewhere else. This is commonplace, she constantly swears it me and i cannot honestly remeber the last time she has talked to me without swearing at me, i dont swear at her, you have to believe me, i really dont. This is not normal, i didnt even say anything to her to induce anything! She constantly lowers my self esteem as well and always makes me feel self conscious about my weight and appeareance. On one occasion she said to me do you think your good looking and i replied i'm average i suppose to which, my mother laughed and said something under her breath. This post contains just a small number of incidents with my, and i hate to say it, my mother. I can not begin to express the hundereds of other times she has done stuff like this. On a final note, i will talk about how the last time she has took me and my brother on holiday was when i was 10 years old. It doesn't necessarily mean your baby will arrive early but you should be on a 'high risk' pregnancy warning as you may need an emergency c-section if your placenta isn't complete and it is low lying the chance of having a full term natural birth is quite slim. You probably will end up having your baby delivered early by c-section.

Why is my mom so mean for no reason?

She calls me dumb and annoying. When will my breast milk start coming in?? Will I be able to breast feed?

Fenugreek is an herb that is supposed to help with breast milk supply. The tea is most likely lots of fenugreek. I took it while I fed my son since my supply was low with my first child. It maybe helped a little. The only side effect is that you smell like pancake syrup. No kidding. I went to a lactation specialist and they measured my milk that I was getting for my son and it was only 2 ounces and then I'd have to pump after I fed him. I would have to feed him every two hours and pump afterwards as well. She said that some women just don't have the "storage space" for milk. Which has nothing to do with size. Weird. I fed him that way for about 3 months and then supplemented and he was a much happier baby when I started supplementing and then finally started gaining weight. If you have to supplement, don't feel bad, it's just the way some of us are, plus you don't want to neglect your first just to feed your second, thats what I felt I was doing with all the feedings and pumping it was crazy and my first was MAD.

OK don't mean to gross you out, but did you do the sniff test? Urine smells like ammonia and amniotic fluid is sorta sweet. If it continues and you lose more fluid from down there, go back to L&D. I can't stand bulling myself. I have seen some really bad bullying in my day and I know how you feel that you can't really do anything without being jeopardized yourself. In your case I think you should try to befriend him, let him know that you want to be his friends and want to be his friend for WHO HE IS not just because you feel sorry for him. Try subtle things so that he knows that you are not making fun of him. You say you have classes together, pretend to you didn't catch what the homework was and ask him, or ask him for help on some homework. Once he starts seeing that you have nice intentions invite him again to sit next to you, introduce him to your friends and let him hang out with you guys, people will be less likely to bully him if he is surrounded with friends. My periods skip on me a lot, but it has been almost 5 weeks since my last one. Different women respond to different hormones differently, so there's no set thing. For example, progesterone is a downer and estrogen is an upper. Your wife might be angry because she feels depressed from the progesterone, I suppose. Or it could be she's angry due to the high estrogen. It's hard to say. My recommendation is to talk to her and bring her attention to her hostile and abusive behavior. Because that's not OK. It's not an excuse to say your hormones are out of whack.

Ok so I noticed I have been having a hard time with depression, already being on ad, after this baby. I had a somewhat good pregnancy, besides normal preg emotional problems. But my last two periods I have noticed allsymptoms of depression and anxiety like 2 days prior through 2 or 3 days after really bad, then they ease up through the rest of the month. Except if something like my drinking partner stresses me out, I get anxiety. I am already on an ad for almost seven yeses, which I think has been working pretty well since my environmental issues are not that great all the time. But sometimes I wake up and and start questioning myself right away, am I going to enjoy anything today? Do I feel depressed or anxious? But most days it gets better as day goes by and I try and get out of the house. Have an eight yr old, 4 yr old to entertain. Which is good cause I feel like I wouldn't care about getting out at all. My sleep has been haywire since everyone likes to stay up till 10 or 11 pm and my new baby likes to wake up at 630 am. I get a real bad case of insomnia like 2 days when my period starts. Which my mind just goes non stop with anxious thoughts and I can actually relax my body but not my mind. And then on my period I feel out of it, rundown, depressed, anxious, I can't even think properly, my brain is mush. I don't remember it being this bad but then again I didn't get my period for 9 mo. So I don't want to increase or change my meds if this is situational. But with my moods or energy its weird, I seriously started Googling bipolar cause I felt like I was losing my mind, then I starred obsessing over if I was becoming crazy, and oh boy that gets my anxiety going. I have started seeing a therapist, but he can only see me every two weeks. I'm really thinking its hormonal but I don't remember it being this bad with my other pregnancies. I get no support from spouse except that he does work, he can't handle the new baby, she's been colicky.

Random "small" gush at 36 weeks pregnant?!?

I was just filling up the dishwasher and i felt a warm gush. I looked and it wasn't completely clear like amniotic fluid is. It was mostly clear but had some milky white through it. It also wasn't a whole lot, im guessing maybe a few table spoons? It also had no scent what so ever. My first pregnancy i was leaking small amounts of amniotic fluid over a period of about 3 days. At first i thought it was just discharge but i had a funny feeling. I went to the hospital to get checked and it turned out it was amniotic fluid. I was sent home with my doctor thinking i would go into labour that night. I didn't and i ended up getting induced and having my waters fully broken by my doctor. I did end up with a c section but that's not really relevant. Also when i was leaking the fluid it was always completely clear, unlike this time. I have been getting more frequent braxton hicks lately but nothing today. Iv had no blood or brown discharge or pain or anything, the baby is still active. Like i said im going to inform my doctor about this but just wondering can amniotic fluid have milky white streaks through it? And it was completely watery not mucousy or stringy or anything. I am 33 weeks along and just realized that I might have been leaking amniotic fluid for some time after doing some research. My underwear gets wet spots or is damp all over throughout the day and the smell is sweet. I have been lucky this pregnancy to not have a lot of discharged so sometimes that's all I have is damp underwear. I also just got positive test results back for a yeast infection so am wondering if dampness is a symptom. Odd menstral flow with IUD all of a sudden...?

I think what you're experiencing is normal to a point. I've had my IUD since '08 and I will go months with no problems, then all of a sudden I will see the same thing you're going through: cramps, weird periods, moody, all that. I think you've been lucky you had such a long time without any problems! I think part of it has to do with the IUD moving. I'm smaller and sometimes have problems with it sitting slightly out of place. It usually fixes itself after a month or two. Have your strings been getting longer or shorter (if you can still feel them)? If it continues for more than a few months or gets a lot worse, you may want to bring up to your gynecologist. I'm only 37 weeks, but the doctor thinks I will go in labor this week. They have been talking about inducing me because of low amniotic fluid, but they are waiting because she thinks I will go into labor on my own very soon. I'm not dilated but 1cm, so I don't see how. A friend of mine didn't realize her pregnancy until she was 24 weeks along, she partied a lot and now has a healthy baby boy. I think that it is a positive sign if he has a stable heartbeat. He may be smaller but technology these days is amazing and he might hit a growth spurt. Amniotic fluid or urine?

Okay, so about 6 hours ago i went to the hospital because i thought my water had broken because i had been experiencing leaking all day long. They did a test with a nitrazine paper and said that it was not amniotic fluid so they let me go home. I had not felt the leaking until a few minutes ago and it came out in a big gush so i went to the bathroom and it kept coming out. I'm not sure if i'm overreacting and just thinking the nurses at the hospital are wrong or if they really are wrong. Is it possible that it's just urine? Has anyone else had this happen to them? I'm 35 weeks, 3 days.

I put head phones on my pregnant belly, is it too loud? Will baby be ok?

So I used my iPhone and put classical music on. I started putting headphones on my belly at 20-21 weeks I am now 22 week just today. I have probably put music on with headphones about 7-8 times for the baby; not completely sure could be less or more. I used these big headphones with the sponges on them for gaming or something so you could hear the sound in the headphones better... What I did not realize was I had the music on WAY too loud (as loud as my iPhone went). I could hear the music coming from the headphones when it was wrapped around my belly... I am so stupid =( I didn't come to think that it could be too loud for the baby.. I've felt baby kick and move around lots several times but did not realize it was probably startling my poor child and scaring it!!!!! I feel so GUILTY and it's stressing me out. I forgot to ask if I could have effected the baby's hearing development.. all he said was to stop playing music and putting headphones on the belly. I'm just shy of 38 weeks. I've been feeling very uncomfortable the past 2 days and I lost my plug 3 nights ago. I've been very crampy, feeling like I'm going to start my period. And while I didn't have any big gush of water that would make me instantly presume that my water has broken, I've noticed excess discharge and also a much sweeter smell each time I go to the bathroom or even change my undies (which I do a few times a day due to so much discharge). I put a pad on earlier and it didn't seem to soak up a ton of fluid but I also seem to notice each time I go to the bathroom that more fluid comes out than I feel like I'm actually peeing. But I haven't had anything leak down my leg after sitting or laying in bed. I don't know exactly what to do as I live an hour from my hospital but I've also noticed that the baby is a lot less active and that's what's worrying me most. Does it sound like it's possible I'm leaking fluid? Also, should I call my doctor due to the decrease in baby's movements? The baby normally moves constantly and I've only felt movement on a few occasions today.

i have poly cystic ovary syndrome and i'm already on medication for the hormonal sides of things but because of it my weight yoyos. i can lose weight but i put it back on VERY easily. What's wrong with my baby?

My daughter was born weighing 6 pounds 4 ounces, she dropped down to 5pounds 15 ounces at 3 days old and did not gain weight till 3 weeks old. Now she is almost 3 months an weighs 7 an a half pounds. I have had a para-guard IUD for 8 years. I have had irregular periods for the whole time.?

October 2010 was the last period I had. Every month I have my regular PMS, cramps etc. Every so often it is followed by very light spotting. I have missed a month here and there but not this many. The last time I went to see my doctor was on the 18 th of april .. went to the ER on the 24 th with a severs headache my bp was in the 200/100 range .. admitted and on the 27 th emergency c-section .. i was only a little over 24 weeks pregnant ... my baby was very premature ... my amniotic fluid was very low so his growth was affected by that .. I have never heard or knew of anyone affected by this disease ? My doctor ignored my complaints of swelling in my feet and hands and sent me back to work ... its been a little over 2 weeks now and I am still experiencing mild headaches .. So anyone who has gone thru this please share your story ... We need more coverage on this complication more awareness !!!! They have no idea why this happens its ridiculous that in 2011 women still have to go through this - mothers and babies die its just so sad :(

On May 15 - 22 i had a normal period that lasted for 6-7 days. On June 7 i started spotting and bled a little for 5 days. It never got heavy just enough to wear a pad and a light tampon. i spotted most of the time though i only bled for like 2 days and spotted 3 days. Today I noticed my stomach is really bloated and crampy even sometimes on my right side (ovary) could be cysts i guess. I cant use the bathroom and if i do its like diarrhea. of course this could be because of anything hormonal imbalance or whatever but i was just wondering what you thought. my boobs are sore of and on but again could be because of anything. I just figured that i had an irregular early period but it weirded me out because for the past few months my periods have been anywhere from 30 days - 35 days not 23 days. Anyway Has this happened to you or to anyone that you know and they were pregnant or was something else wrong. I looked at a calendar and the bleeding started 9 days past ovulation. But ive heard that implantation bleeding was light then i heard it could be a little heavy depending on your body. My mind is very foggy too i cant remember anything it seems like of course that could because im just dumb or something. Im not stressed or anything either.

Why does my boyfriend have a secret friend who is a girl?

I have a thick brown discharge, what can this mean?

I've been on birth control for about 8 months, and this last week I was on the last 4 anti-hormonal pills of my pack and i was experiencing a thick brown discharge that I haven't seen before. Now I'm off the anti-hormonal pills and have been back on my regular ones for 2 days, but I'm still getting the brown discharge, only a little less thick than before. What can this mean? Can this mean that I'm pregnant somehow?

What barrier methods of contraception are there?

I'm 34 weeks along on monday and hospital said they will induce early (at the very least by a week) as the placenta stops working as well as it should. They haven't told me when though, Baby was measuring 35 weeks at 32 weeks and 5lbs 3oz (above 99th centile) and I have increased amniotic fluid too. They said they'll be looking for baby's lungs to develop before they do induce me... It's driving me mad not knowing lol.

What do I say when my mom is crying?

we've recently found out that one of our close family friends went into labor and had an amniotic fluid embolism and she isn't doing very well. her child was saved but they had to take out her uterus and things are getting much worse for her, they don;t think she'll make it much longer. i was with my mom abount an hour ago and i just layed in her lap and she cied softly. i didn't know what to say so i just layed there but i have a feeling that this friend won't make it and then obviuosly my mom will cry again. so what do i say to comfort her? i always cry easily so i KNOW that i will cry if she cries. but i just don't know what to say to her. help? please and thank you!

Mucus plug or amniotic fluid?

Amniotic fluid is not mucousy, but more like water. Also if your membranes are ruptured you will continue to leak constantly, especially when you have a contraction. Most likely you will need to wear a pad to keep from getting your pants saturated. However if you are concerned, definitely call your doctor's office, and they should be able to talk you through it or will tell you to go be examined.

Yes it is a know fact that babies of mom's with Gestational Diabetes are often larger in size, but this is not always the case. They do not like to induce pregnancies until about 37-38 weeks depending on the babies size and lung maturity. I would say that you will probably have your baby by 39 weeks but at the babies current size you may be looking closer to 37 weeks. Babies at this week of gestation do typically well with the transition into the world. They are often a nice healthy weight and ready to breath on their one without assistance. I would go back to the ER and demand a different triage nurse or demand to speak to her supervisor because seriously, they should be there to help you. If your waters did break then there is risk of infection if left alone. Go back and don't let anyone treat you badly, you're pregnant and a patient in need of care. If your dr isnt concerned you shouldn't be either. My Ob also told me I had high fluid she said it would muffle some of the baby's kicks so I wouldn't feel them but that was about it.

How to fix uneven skintone?

I am a medium toned (tawny) skinned black girl with uneven skintone. I looked in my car mirror today and my skin looked HORRID!!! I have been having problems out of my breast lately. At first it was then hurting all together now its just my nipples. And my cycle finally came a few days ago after spotting for a week. Bought some inexpensive salmon.. woke up feeling weird?

Best friend lied and stole off me. What to do?

Extremely long story. I was at a party and I smoked weed and started hallucinating and losing it and wrecking the party. One of my good mates (guy who made the party) brought me up the stairs took me into a bedroom (looked after me for a while). There my best friend (of 5 yrs) apparently "stayed" in the room looking after me. Next morning, my $50 note was gone. He said NO and started accusing my mate (the party starter) for taking the money and witnessed him having a $50 in his wallet and buying ciggies with it. I asked him if he drove my car to drop people off (he is on his L's and was drinking), he said NO. Found out my fuel was half gone and crums around the car. Next day one of my other mates admitted to using my car to drop people off and apologized sincerley. However my best friend still denied driving my car. Couple days later, we were chilling in my friends car (guy who made the party) and I asked him if he knew who stole my money. He said he knew and that it was a friend that stole my money and that he would never tell me because it will make things worse. My best friend who happened to be in the car, started to buckle and choke and started accusing my mate why he was getting the blame and that he was a dog c*nt for accusing him etc (in short it looked like he knew he did it and couldn't handle the pressure so he lashed out). I also found out from my mate (and several others) that my best friend took my car out for 3 Maccas runs, had a joy ride (with alcohol in his system) and LET a drunk 14 yr old with no license drive it (I was also told that the 14 yr old nearly crashed my car 4 times). My mate (party starter) also said things which were true - my best friend didnt bring money to the party, he witnessed my bestie holding a lot of cash (change from the $50 possibly?) and that he pretty much shouted everyone Maccas (my best friend is on the dole, lives on housing commission and suffers financially, he never shouts anything). I confronted my best friend after this argument calmly and with no swearing or voice raising, he responded by swearing and telling me off and how he looked after me all night and would never do such thing and that the money used for Maccas was from people chipping in. I also asked other party goers that night and one said that my best friend would do no such thing and that he chipped in small change for Maccas. However I talked with my mate (the party starter) and he was 100% certain he took the money and that 'looking after you all night' doesn't mean sh*t. What do I do in this situation? Obviously our trio is broken up. I do not like to take sides either. My best friend (or ex bestie) is very hostile and refuses to talk. Please help me resolve this.
