Hit in the stomach while 13 weeks pregnant?

A girl I was arguing with hit me in the stomach.. I'm slightly overweight to begin with so I have some fat to cushion the blow. It glanced off somewhat and didn't knock the breath out of me, but it was hard enough to hurt. I'm hoping my stomach muscles mostly absorbed the impact, right now my stomach is sore but there is no bruising or anything. I just made an appointment with the doctor, but until I get in I'm just worried and looking for feedback. Is the baby still cushioned enough by amniotic fluid at this point that it should be okay? :(
