Birth control and extremley heavy periods!?

On my last day of my first pack of pills i started a light period. I was planning on skipping the white pills becasue i am going away and didnt want a period so i started the next pack. My period didnt go away and it is extremely heavy, heavier then its ever been. What do i do! is it going to go away should i stop taking the hormonal pills for a few days!? im 15 and never have had sex
