Has anyone experienced Pre-Eclampsia?

The last time I went to see my doctor was on the 18 th of april .. went to the ER on the 24 th with a severs headache my bp was in the 200/100 range .. admitted and on the 27 th emergency c-section .. i was only a little over 24 weeks pregnant ... my baby was very premature ... my amniotic fluid was very low so his growth was affected by that .. I have never heard or knew of anyone affected by this disease ? My doctor ignored my complaints of swelling in my feet and hands and sent me back to work ... its been a little over 2 weeks now and I am still experiencing mild headaches .. So anyone who has gone thru this please share your story ... We need more coverage on this complication more awareness !!!! They have no idea why this happens its ridiculous that in 2011 women still have to go through this - mothers and babies die its just so sad :(
