Is it normal that at 39 weeks of pregnancy you loose small portions of amniotic fluid?

It's normal at 39 weeks of pregnancy to give birth and lose all amniotic fluid in the process. Maybe your body is getting ready, or your water broke. There is a danger to the baby if there is low amniotic fluid and they may need to delivery right away or give you a c-section if that is the case. they can tell with an ultrasound. You are 39 weeks, full term, go to the ER or laborr & delivery.
