What do too about this guy?

To cut to the chase.. this guy has liked me for ages and ages and recently i began to like him back. I told him this and ever since hes just acted like he cares less and less.. i asked a few weeks back if he still likes me and he said yes and that I was 'paranoid' but since then hes got even worse?! He used to be really nice and sweet and tell me his emotions/feelings and stuff. The other day i was in a call with him and the conversation turned to him no longer liking sharing his feelings/emotions... we've met 3 times before (he lives an hour or so away) and we've been busy with exams etc since then and plan to meet up again soon. I told him last night that im scared i wont be good enough for him expecting some words of comfort, as you do! He goes 'that involves emotions' (referring back to our conversation the other day)... so i left feeling pretty stupid and annoyed - hoping he'd feel bad. I came back and he didnt even talk to me? I always have to start a conversation with him, but then get called paranoid when i ask if he still cares?! I really reallllyy like him and i hurt when i dont talk to him.. im so confused ): I feel that he is treating me badly and that im not being paranoid but i dunno, what do you think? adviceee? thanks.
