How will I know if I'm leaking amniotic fluid?

I felt a gush of fluid (watery-like) this morning and I'm not sure if this is just normal pregnancy discharge or amniotic fluid. It didn't smell of anything though. I'm approaching my 19th week. Is this something that I should expect on the second trimester and is normal? I don't feel any pain though.
