It's sad to hear someone say they don't want to rely on faith and miracles. But I guess it's easy to understand you saying that if you've never experienced miracles and have been abused by religion. I challenge you to ask God for help, regardless of your church affiliation, regardless of what you believe or don't believe. My God is able to be touched by our infirmities, He does hear and will answer, even if you don't know who he is or anything about him.
